Current App Store version: 1.0.2 (released 20 October 2026). To check yours, open ShiftMaster → Settings and scroll to the bottom: Version. Updating is free and keeps all your data.

1.0.2 — 20 October 2026

Invoices, reworked.

• Saved clients. In Settings → Invoicing, New client keeps the current client in a Saved clients list and clears the fields for the next one. Tap a saved client to bill them, swipe left to delete. In Reports → Invoice, Bill to picks the client.
• Invoice numbers count up by themselves and never repeat. The next number is shown and can be changed in Reports → Invoice → Invoice no. (it is no longer in Settings). A number that already has a saved invoice is skipped automatically.
• Payment terms can be any number of days, not just 7, 14 or 30.
• Start again from INV-0001 (under Past invoices) deletes all saved invoices from the iPhone and restarts the numbering, after a warning. Back them up to SSD or email them to yourself first.
• Clear business details empties your business name, address and VAT number in one tap.
• Past invoices, Past timesheets and Past reports are now separate lists at the bottom of Reports.
• Fixed: Generate invoice sometimes didn't appear after filling in Settings → Invoicing until the app was reopened.
• Fixed: an invoice could replace an older one when its number was set back by hand.

1.0.1 — 19 October 2026

• The break reminder now warns 15 minutes before 6 hours of working time (it used to say "4.5 h driving").
• The first launch asks for your base (depot or yard), which Job ETA plans from.
• Backup to SSD also copies every report, timesheet and invoice into a Documents folder.
• Fixed: on the Reports screen the number keypad had no Done key and covered the tabs. A Done button now appears at the top while a keyboard is open.
• Fixed: invoice lines typed in but not yet generated were lost when iOS closed the app.

Known problems

None known in 1.0.2. If something isn't working, email shiftmaster.help@gmail.com with your iPhone model, iOS version and ShiftMaster version.

• Older versions only: if Generate invoice doesn't appear (1.0 and 1.0.1), close ShiftMaster fully and open it again, or update to 1.0.2.
• Older versions only: if the keypad covers the tabs on Reports (1.0), tap the invoice item description field, then the return key (↵), or update.
